FieldCoat LLC — Terms of Service

By using FieldCoat (available at fieldcoatapp.com, and also at field-coat-ai.replit.app), you agree to these terms. FieldCoat is operated by FieldCoat LLC. You can reach us at support@fieldcoatapp.com.

THE SERVICE

FieldCoat provides estimating, proposal, customer management, and job management software for painting contractors.

ACCOUNTS

You must be at least 18, provide accurate information, and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.

SUBSCRIPTIONS AND BILLING

Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe at the tier you select. You may cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

YOUR DATA

Contractors own the business data they enter. You grant FieldCoat a license to process that data to operate the service. You are responsible for having the necessary rights and consents for information you upload, including your customers' contact information.

ACCEPTABLE USE

Do not use FieldCoat for unlawful purposes or unsolicited messaging. You must comply with applicable messaging-consent laws when contacting your customers.

TEXT MESSAGING PROGRAM TERMS (FieldCoat SMS)

SMS / Text Messaging Terms

FieldCoat sends project-related text messages (proposal links, appointment reminders, job updates, deposit confirmations) on behalf of painting contractors, only to customers who opted in on their proposal page.

  • The program delivers proposal follow-ups, appointment reminders, and job updates sent by painting contractors to their own customers through FieldCoat.
  • Recipients opt in via a consent checkbox at estimate creation. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.
  • Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

  • You can cancel at any time by replying STOP. After you reply STOP, we will send one final message to confirm you have been unsubscribed.

  • Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Términos de mensajes de texto (SMS) — Español

FieldCoat envía mensajes de texto relacionados con proyectos (enlaces de propuestas, recordatorios de citas, actualizaciones de trabajos, confirmaciones de depósitos) en nombre de contratistas de pintura, únicamente a clientes que se suscribieron (opt-in) en su página de propuesta.

  • La frecuencia de los mensajes varía.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

FieldCoat and its software are owned by FieldCoat LLC. U.S. Patent Pending.

DISCLAIMERS AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, FieldCoat LLC's total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim arose.

TERMINATION

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may stop using the service at any time.

GOVERNING LAW

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey.
